base shear and overturning moment in NTHA

hi everybody
my model is 2D, 6 story RCmoment frame with BRB. I need to extract envelope of base shear and overturning moment in NTHA, how can i do this?

use element recorders to record the forces in elements connected to boundary conditions and then use something like matlab to process the results of the recorders.
