Hyperelastic materials

Post by zlatkov »

Hello,

There are numerous hyperelastic nd-material models in the source code repository (neo-hookian, mooney, ogden...), however I can't seem to compile/define them as they require few "tensor" operators and different matrix vectors definitions. They have been introduced in 2003 version or maybe even earlier. Has anyone worked on them since then? Maybe this is a post for framework topic, but as I would mainly just like to use them, I wonder if somebody has a working source or .exe with hyperelasticity available.

all i get as output from compiled source is...

FiniteDeformationElastic3D::setTrialStrain -- subclass responsibility
NDMaterial::getStress -- subclass responsibility

Thanks,

Zlatko

Re: Hyperelastic materials and Patent Leather

The hyperelastic material is a extraordinary case of a Cauchy elastic material. Many material, linear elastic models do not exactly illustrate the experiential material behaviour. Have you know about patent leather,it is characterized by a glass-like finish that catch the light, patent leather is typically solid black. Patent leather may also have several colors such as neutral tan, white, black or any colors.For More Visit http://www.clogsforcomfort.net/
