DisplayModel3D and Version 2.4.5

Post by taneryilmaz »

Hi,

I have a considerably large 3D bridge model, and in the past when I was using Version 2.4.0 I was able to check my model and see the modal shapes without any problem by using the tcl files DisplayModel3D.tcl (and also DisplayPlane.tcl).

However, when I switched to Version 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 (with the use of 64 bit versions of tcl), I cannot complete my run to see the modal shapes (or any deformed shape) as the graphical output does not appear on my screen.

What would be the reason I get such a difference? I compare the same set of tcl files in two computers (one with version 2.4.0 and the other with versions 2.4.4. and 2.4.5)? Is it related with the use of 64 bit programs?

Thank you,

Taner Yilmaz.

probably the 64 bit version. same source code, just maybe not all the same flags going to the compiler. i will have a look.
