stage construction process

Hi all,
I'm trying to simulate the stage construction process with opensees, i konw how to do it in Ansys . but i am not sure whether opensees can do it just like ANSYS ,or there are some other efficient way to do it ,can anybody give some advice to me,I will be thankful.

it works with MOST element types .. you just add or remove elements and nodes .. to be sure it works for the element types you are considering i suggest a small scale test with the elements types you intend to use, create a model, add an element, and check to ensure resisting forces n new element is 0 after it is added [eleResponse command].

is there some example in the user doc , i can't find any of it, it will help a lot if there are some Specific examples.

why would you need an example!

if removing elements:

if adding elements and nodes:
just perform the analysis on original model, add more nodes, elements and loads and analyze the model again. it's not rocket science!
