hi Silvia,
I use "eigen commnd" for determining natural period of one structural system(building and subgrade soil of it), but after runing the opensees give this erorr:
"RUN OUT OF MEMMORY"
please help me to solve this problem(I use opensees version 2.2)

I try to modeling shear wall as simple as possible by opensees.I have ONLY hystercis force displacement of wall.
my question is:
1-which element is best for this type modeling?
2-Is it possible to model wall with one zero length element?
