Dear everyone,
I am analyzing the bridge response under earthquake.I need to input earthquake waves at different times into different piers.Every piers receive the same earthquake wave at different time. How could I realize it?
Thanks a lot!

zeroLengthContactD element
Dear everyone, I am sorry to disturb you again, but I need help. I added the zeroLengthContactD element between two BeamColumn elements successfuly .However ,I modulate the analysis for all the situations,it does not work.(matrix is singular) I know the zeroLengthContactD element can be used in the b...

Dear everyone, I need the zerolengthcontact3D in my bridge model which is 6DOF.I release DOF like this "equalDOF 55 81 1 2 3",but I always got the warning "WARNING ZeroLengthContact3D::setDomain cannot handle 6dofs at nodes in 6 d problem". Why?I don't know what's the matter. Are...

dear everyone,
Is the Isolator2spring Section 2D?
How could I simulate the 3D bearing in a bridge?
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
I want to build a bridge with zeroLengthContact3D element, but my model must have initional gap between two contact body.
My question is
How could I consider the initional gap in the zeroLengthContact3D element?
Thank you very much!

the direction of the period
Hi, everyone,
I got the period of a bridge, but I donot know the direction.
Is there another method besides outputting the eigenvalue of all nodes?
Thank you!
