Eigen values(infinite):
Hello Sylivia, It has been a while since I got a couple of questions of curved bridge modeling using opensees. I have done a full model of one curved bridge with skewed angles, but the first period of such a bridge that I found was infinite when running the case. Could you let me know why it happene...

Tangential dynamic ground motion
Hello Silvia, Do you know how to apply seismic loadings to curved bridge? I mean curved bridge consists of the different radius at each pier or abutment so that longitudinal loading direction would be tagent line to the orientation of abutments And, if the longitudinal dynamic ground motion is appli...

Sent tcl.file to you
I just generated the nodes using excel and auto cad to find coordinate of my curved bridge. I already sent it to you. If getting this, please let me know.

Hello Silvia, As you know I have created my model(it is simple), but it doesn't work so far. I cannot find my model problem to be run even though I tried to put the more constraints in my system. Could you take a look at this as below if you do not mind? I highly appreciate that you take a look at t...

Thank you but I have another question.
I appreciate that you anwsered it. BTW, I would like to clarify your question: You mean supports? or connetions? Do you have good way to figure out the constraint problem?

Thank you all:
By the way, Silvia:
Could you please answer my question that I posted after you asked me about eigenvalue problem of my structure? For seeing the questions, you can find the question entiled "eigen" written by me.

Can I see visually my model?
Hello Silvia: As you know I need to see or visually check out whether my model looks appropriate or not. How can I visullay take a look at my tangeible model, including node information and element connectivity in lieu of "print node or ele function"? If not, please let me know what altern...

Yes, I defined masses. I asked like that eigen frequency 10. I just constrained node representing the supports. Meanwhile, my source program doesn't work for running the static analysis. Error is as follows: ProfileSPDLinDirectSolver::solve() - aii < 0 (i, aii): (33, 0) WARNING NewtonRaphson::solveC...

Hello Silvia,
I am solving eigenvalues problem on bridge systems that I made, but when using eigen command the error provoked as below :
eigenSOE failed in solve<> - algorithm failed.
Could you tell me how to amend this in order to run it?
Thanks
Patrick.

Hello Silvia,
I have a silly question below:
The unit of defomation results at DOF 3 in 2D problem is degree or radian? Which one is correct?
