Hello everyone, I'm trying to model some lightly reinforced shear walls where only the vertical reinforcement is present. Using beam elements with fiber section works but mainly for flexure dominated specimens. I'd like to use some other method that could allow me to better approximate the behavior ...

As far as the nDMaterial PlaneStressUserMaterial is concerned, the source code of that element isn't free and therefore not included in the official version of Opensees. To use that element you have to download an old version of the software, released by the PlaneStressUserMaterial authors at http:/...
