Re: issue with ops.getNP()
Hi Ricardo, I am having the same problem when compiling using cmake on Ubuntu. It seems the compiled python library is only the sequential version. Could you please explain in more detail how you fixed it? Did you just change mpirun/mpiexec to mpiexec.hydram? In my case, I do not have mpiexec.hydram...

Re: MPI_Channel::recvVector() - incorrect number of entries for Vector received
I believe it is related to the NormUnbalance convergence test. If I change to NormDispIncr, the issue goes away. I can confirm this as well using the lastest OpenSeesSP code. I was having this same error using NormUnbalance. When changing to NormDispIncr, it went away. Any thoughts/updates on this?

Re: Not seeing difference between -ele and -eleOnly using Region command and element mass density
Hi selimgunay, Thank you very much for your reply. I have only used dispBeamColumn in the model and haven't used the -cMass option so I think the model has lumped mass. Both of the two cases (assign masses directly to the nodes or assign distributed masses) have the same periods (e.g. T1= 0.23030705...

Not seeing difference between -ele and -eleOnly using Region command and element mass density
Dear community, I have created a 1story-1bay frame model and tried to assign rayleigh damping (mass and initial stiffness proportional) to the whole model using the region command. According to the manual there are several options available in the region command including the '-ele' and '-eleOnly' o...

Re: OpenSeesSP freezes
Hi,
I am also running a transient analysis after the static analysis using OpenSeesSP which gives me the same error. I have defined system Mumps only once for analysis and it also worked fine when np=1. Is there a way to solve this problem now? Thanks in advance!

Junfei
