Help regarding Opensees MP
Hii I am trying to do a parametric study in OpenSees on multistoried 3-d buildings. There are about 44 different EQ data i have to apply for each of my model thus making the run time about 2-3 days long. I need to do a faster run of my program. Since the NEESHUB have been shut down, I am now trying ...

Recorder file not generating ???
The following is my code. Recorder files starting with 'ColElement_1_Level', 'ColElement_2_Level','BmXElement_1_Level' and 'BmXElement_2_Level' gets generated as soon as the code is run. But files starting with 'BmZElement_1_Level' and 'BmZElement_2_Level' doesnt appear anywhere inside the directory...

hi i need to provide mass eccentricity in a symmetric bay frame. i have buit a symmetric bay frame with rigid diaphragm in each floor with the master node at the center. to provide the mass eccentricity, i plan to assign extra nodes at every floors with its position arbitrary and assign masses to th...

hii i am trying to validate the results of a 2D bay 4 column bay frame with that of 3d 4 column frame. The 2D model and the analysis results are allright but when i try to model the 3D and analyse, the following warning is coming up for each of my element ForceBeamColumn3d::ForceBeamColumn3d -- no t...

Help with eigen value analysis
Hi all I am a newbie to opensees. i am currently using it as part of my postgraduation project. As a start i need to find out the free vibration response of a 1 storied 3d frame. my frame will have a node at the centre of the rigid diaphragm where all the equivalent seismic weight is assumed to be l...
