Re: Changing model during analysis (stage analysis)
Thank you very much for your reply. But isn't that better to model the connections by springs? The stiffness of springs can be adjusted after the dead load analysis.

Changing model during analysis (stage analysis)
Hi everyone.
I just wanted to know if there is a command to alter the characteristics of models during analysis. For example, in a pushover analysis, I want to replace some rigid connections by a pin connection after analysis under gravity loads. How can I do that?
Thanks in advance.

Re: rotation of master node in rigidDiaphragm and record
1- Release constraint of node 1335 in both X and Y directions.
2- It's correct if you define separate nodes for braces.

Re: IDA Intensity Measure
You should determine Sa for each scaled record.
Usually Sa is a better index for intensity measure relative to the PGA, because it captures characteristics of both model and record.

IDA Analysis Using OpenSeesMP
Hi I have a structure and an earthquake record. I want to analyze my structure under two intensities of earthquake (i=1,2), the first analysis should be done on the first processor (processor id =0) and the second one should be done on the second processor (processor id = 1) simultaneously. here is ...

Drift Recorder in OpenSeesSP
Hi
Is there any command to record drifts in OpenSeesSP?
I use "Recorder Drift" command, but OpenSeesSP replies that "this command should not be used" and records nothing.
Thanks in advance.
