Modeling SCB frames using beam-column elements Fatigue mater

Dear Vesna, In your Opensees code for SCBF based on the presentation by the name of "Modeling SCB frames using beam-column elements," you used Fatigue material for braces the same as bellow : uniaxialMaterial Fatigue $matTag $tag <-E0 $E0> <-m $m> <-min $min> <-max $max> uniaxialMaterial F...

Definition of orient for zerolength element

Dear all I tend to define orient in a zero-length element for a brace, but I don't know how to calculate the orient parameters? I have read the Opensees wiki example but I did not understand. An example If brace angle with the x-axis is 30 degrees, How are the following parameters calculated? -orien...

Re: Adding Material Works on Windows, Not on Linux

Dear edwardal,
I want to use FractureMaterial from Po-Chien Hsiao's PhD thesis "Seismic Performance Evaluation of Concentrically Braced Frames", 2012.
What should I do?
I must implement the c++ code into Opensees or is there another way?
please help me.
