Hi Frank,
Could you please organize a webinar on "fire modeling" especially for the SIFBuilder Project?
The last webinar was 6 years ago. We see many updates during these years.

Thank you.

Fire in OpenSEES
Hi, Unfortunately, the presented commands in fire OpenSees for time series analysis is unclear and there is no example. If you have such an OpenSees example regarding apply a fire profile (temperature-time plot), could you please share with us? http://openseesforfire.github.io/Subpages/examples.html...

Develop a material/opensees
Hi,
Recently, we developed a material and an element in OpenSees and made dll file.
How can we share it to consider in OpenSeesWiki?
Thanks

Re: Steel deck
Thank you for your attention. The purpose is not modeling of a diaphragm for the lateral analysis of the building. Actually, I wanna evaluate the bond-slip behavior between concrete and steel plate (specify a shear stress limit so that sliding will occur if the magnitude of the shear stress reaches ...

Hi all,
Could you please guide me how we should simulate a 3d steel deck (composite slab) within opensees?
Thank you.

Frictional behavior
Hello, How can we specify a shear stress limit (tau_max) so that, regardless of the magnitude of the contact pressure stress, sliding will occur if the magnitude of the shear stress reaches this value? A reasonable upper bound estimate for tau_max is sigma_y/sqrt(3) where sigma_y is the Mises yield ...

theta_p in Bilin Material
Dear all,
Regarding Bilin Material:
http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... n_Material
the value of theta_p is related to monotonic (initial) backbone. If there is an experimental results from cyclic loading (hysteresis curve), how should we move to monotonic backbone value?
Thank you.

stiffness multiplier for rotational spring
Hello, Changing the value of stiffness multiplier for rotational spring (n), used in modeling concentrated plasticity, affects significantly to results of nonlinear time history analysis. In the OpenSees Example: http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index.php/Dynamic_Analysis_of_2-Story_Moment_Frame &q...
