Hi suiwenwu,
I never got OpenSeesSP to compile correctly, so we ended up switching to using BBarbrick instead of the shell elements. I saw in the SVN logs that changes had been made to the shell element code, but I haven't tried recompiling.

Hi Frank, I was wondering if you had heard back from the code authors yet regarding the changes proposed by elhaddad and/or your suggestion of allowing the base class to handle it?
