Hello Song,
Did you solve this problem? If so, would you please post here? I have the same problem.
thanks,
Hassan

Re: How to extract stiffness and mass matrices?
Thank you fmk, I used FullGeneral system, it is working.
I see that at the case of transient analysis, the result of printA will be some combination of mass and stiffness matrices. What is the coefficients?

How to extract stiffness and mass matrices?
Hello,
Is there any way to extract initial stiffness matrix and mass matrix of a structure in OpenSees?
Also, if it is possible to have tangent stiffness matrix of the structure in each time step of a transient analysis?
Thanks,
Hassan

Re: function of of *.TEX files
Dear fmk,
I need to look at some of *.tex files. I use LaTex to compile them, but I face with a problem. Would you please put a sample folder involving required packages?

Re: Hybrid test using OpenSees
Sorry, that is a mistake here, actually I apply both of them with a negative sign. while {$t<=$TmaxAnalysis} { set ok [analyze 1 $DtAnalysis] set disp1 [nodeDisp 3 1] set disp3 [nodeDisp 3 3] #### here I sent the displacement to the server remove loadPattern $j; # I remove the load pattern on the gi...

Hybrid test using OpenSees
I’m going to do a hybrid test with a substructure using OpenSees and LabView (National Instruments). I have a problem in OpenSees and I wonder if you help me. In my process, OpenSees is in the client side and LabView acts as server. In OpenSees I’m using a loop to do transient analysis and apply rec...

Re: simple shear wall model... Help!
Hi Omaramin, I see some problems in your script: 1- Why you've used -ndm 1 -ndf 1? (I think you should use -ndm 2 -ndf 3) 2- Why you use zero length elements? A zero length element should has real zero length! but here point you have a distance between successive points (120). If you are beginner, I...
