performanceFunction
Hi,Thank you for your valuable time in advance. I'm having quite a trouble when using performanceFunction (PF) in terms of beam-strain. this is in some examples: performanceFunction 1 "5.0e-5-\[nodeDisp 2 1\]" It works fine like this instead: parameter 23 node 2 disp 1 performanceFunction ...

LoadPattern
Hi, I went through the LoadPattern.cpp file looking for whether is not too difficult to add sensitivity for "SP_Constraint" like parameters. I would like to ask is there is a simpler way to "impose" rotations as random variables in a reliability analysis? If not, could someone pl...

Re: SectionIntegration || Section
Thank you very much your quick response I'm having this error trying to build Opensees application (using visualstudio 2010 and win7-64b): Error 1697 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "void * __cdecl OPS_DoddRestr(void)" (?OPS_DoddRestr@@YAPAXXZ) referenced in function "int __...

Re: Submit Reliability questions here!
I managed to successfully modify the steel01 material following the tutorials. Now, I'm having some trouble to implement a new pipefibersection2d I like to know if there are some tutorial o references about adding a new section class??
thank you for your advice,

SectionIntegration || Section
Hi, everyone, 1.-I want to conduct a FORM analysis of a Non-Linear steel pipe structure with both wall thickness and OD as Rvariables. It seem to be two ways to do it; one by defining a NewSectionIntegration or by a NewSection class to get the parameters. Which could be the most straight forward way...

Adding new material
Hi, everyone, I been successfully following the "Implementing Your Own Material in OpenSees" tutorial. Now as second step, I've decided just to try modifying only the name of a copy of the steel01 material but I'm missing something, this is what I done: 1.- a change of all variables and fi...
