Hi,

how do we model the flat slab column connection in the opensees?
we need to transfer the unbalance moment of the slab in to the column. how do we define the spring properties to transfer the unbalance moment. do we use same Ibarra Kwawinkler model for the extra spring?

when I increase the load in the leaning column during nonlinear pushover analysis why does the base shear too increases? Shouldn't base shear be same whatever load we applied in the leaning column during pushover analysis?
