Here is my script. The actual model is 9-story building.
Thank you.

Re: Difference in natural period
With my 9-story building model, I got 1.09 sec in ver. 2.4.3 and 2.19 sec in ver. 2.3.2 for the first mode natural period respectively. I think this is too large discrepancy. Is this a possible discrepancy due to the constraint handler? Even though I got quite different natural period, the actual re...

Warning messages of the static analysis
Hello, I got the following warning messages with the static analysis for gravity loads when I ran an example problem. I don't think that there is an error in the script of this example problem since when I used ver. 2.3.2, I did not get any warning message like this. I get these warning messages onl...

Re: Difference in natural period
I don't think the gravity load makes this difference. When I used a 9-story building model, I got quite large difference in the natural period between ver. 2.4.3 and ver. 2.3.2. I think the gravity load can make difference to the result of analysis but the natural period.

Difference in natural period
Hello, I just found that there is a little difference in the natural period of a structure when I run it with ver. 2.3.2 and ver. 2.4.3. I used exactly the same script with exactly the same structure. I run the example problem of 2-Story Steel Moment Frame with Concentrated Plasticity. When I run th...

Re: Error in absolute acceleration record
I put a time history of ground accelerations as an input ground motion and defined as follows: set accelSeries "timeSeries -dt $dt -filePath $GMfile -factor [expr $Scalefact*$g]"; This one is working at least for analysis. I also tried to use the timeSeries command to define the ground mot...

Re: Error in absolute acceleration record
I just added the following command just after the command line of "# create load pattern:" in the example of "Dynamic Analysis of 2-Story Moment Frame (without panel zones)". #---------------- Acceleration recorder -----------------------------------------------------------------...

Re: Error in Example Problem
Sorry for my late response. I got two WARNING messages for the static analysis for gravity loads. The first one is "Warning BandGenLinLapackSolver:: solve<>-LAPACK routine returned 4 The second one is "Warning NewtonRaphson:: solveCurrentStep<>- the LinearSysOfEqn failed in solve<>StaticAn...

Error in absolute acceleration record
Hello, I have a question about recorder command to record absolute acceleration. I did a dynamic analysis with UniformExcitation and tried to record the floor absolute acceleration using recorder Node command in ver. 2.4.3. However, it showed me an error that says "NodeRecorder - dataToStore Se...

Error in Example Problem
Hello, I got an error message and an warning message when I run one of the example problems in this site with OpenSees ver. 2.4.3. I did not get any error or warning message when I run the same example problem with OpenSees ver. 2.3.2. I did not make any change in the script and ran with exactly the...

Re: Convergence Problem
Have you tried to run the following example? "Dynamic Analysis of 2-Story Moment Frame" It does not give any warning message with ver. 2.3.2 but two warning messages with ver. 2.4.2. Now the author updated it to solve the convergence problem, so it works with both ver. 2.3.2 and 2.4.2. How...

Convergence Problem
Hello, I have a dynamic analysis problem. I ran this problem with OpenSees ver. 2.2.2 and it converged. However, when I ran exactly the same problem with ver. 2.4.2, it failed to converge. I checked the same convergence problem with a few Examples in this website. Can anyone tell me what causes this...
