Re: Problem with pushover if run with v. 2.4.4. (rev 5764)
I am using nonlinearBeamColumn and elasticBeamColumn elements and as materials Steel01 (and then minMax material) and concrete01

Re: isolated bridge model
Hi, try to post yours, so that we can look at the script and, maybe, identify the problem

Problem with pushover if run with v. 2.4.4. (rev 5764)
Dear all, I tried to re-run a pushover analysis with a model using the current version 2.4.4. (rev. 5764). I compared the results obtained with old versions (in particular, v. 2.4.0., 2.4.1.5515, v. 2.4.1.1), but the pushover curve are significanly different. I tried to check pushover results of a c...

Re: strain recorder
I knew this so I tried to get the correct fibers information doing as explained in the following. What I am looking for - I have to extract the strains related to the unconfined concrete fibers in most external ring. What I have done - I have created a loop that compute the y and z coordinates of th...

strain recorder input-output different coordinates of fibers
Thanks for your reply... Now I cannot figure out why I am obtaining something as follow: I am asking concrete strains as you have suggested, but even if I ask for specific coordinates, when I check the xml output, the coordinates shown are different. I am working with circular sections, thus the sub...

strain recorder
I would like to obtain the maximum strain of a column, at each step of a pushover, considering firstly all the fibers of concrete cover and, secondly, all the fibers of concrete core, without specifying the the coordinates of all the fibers. I have used the following recorder commands: set recTag60 ...

Re: Eigen analysis - domain error: argument not in valid ran
Thanks for you answer, I checked the model again and I realized that the tcl written was not able to source the boundary conditions; this was the reason why the model was so unstable.
Thanks a lot for your time

Eigen analysis - domain error: argument not in valid range
I am modeling a bridge with deck as elasticBeamColumn and piers as forceBeamColumn; the bearings have been modeled as elastomericBearing elements with zero length as follow: element elastomericBearing 6 7 9 1E+12 1E+09 0.02 -P 33 -T 11 -My 66 -Mz 11 -orient 1 0 0 0 1 0 where 7 and 9 are nodes with t...
