Axisymmetric element

Dear all,

Is there an axisymmetric quad element with and without pore pressure DOFs ?
If there is no axisymmetric elements in OpenSees, is there any reference could guide for developing such elements in Opensees?

Best Regards

Shell element

Dear all

In the manual is mentioned for shell element the nodes must be in counter clockwise order. But in the example for that element in http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... ll_Element , nodes are in the clockwise order. Would you mind helping me which one is correct?

Flow Liquefaction with PDMY material

Dear all Has anybody ever modeled flow liquefaction with PDMY material? The mechanism of liquefaction in PressureDependMultiYield material is cyclic mobility (non-flow liquefaction) but in the manual there are 5 optional parameters in the PDMY material command based on the work of Li and Wang to def...

Re: bbarBrick element

The body forces input into the some kind of elements should be the components of the gravitational vector ( gravity acceleration components in x, y, and z directions , for example 0 , 0 , -9.81) like BrickUP element , and in some elements the body forces should be the unit weight. I meant which cate...

Re: bbarBrick element

Thank you for your attention
Are they ($b1 $b2 $b3) gravity acceleration components?

bbarBrick element

Dear all

How can I apply body forces in bbarBrick elements? In the command of that element there is no parameter for body forces!

element bbarBrick $eleTag $node1 $node2 $node3 $node4 $node5 $node6 $node7 $node8 $matTag

Thank you

ZeroLengthContact element

Dear all

I want to use zeroLengthContact element. Could anyone guide me how I can evaluate penalty parameters in the command of that element?(penalty in normal and in tangential directions)

Thanks

ZeroLengthContact Element

Dear all

Is anyone use ZeroLengthContact Element for modeling soil-pile interaction?? How can evaluate penalty in normal and in tangential direction for the command of that element??
