Hi
I see in example manual, Ex5.Frame2D, in Concrete02 material parameters, the tensile strength for confined concrete is increased from unconfined concrete. is it true? I mean will there be confinement effect during tension in concrete?
Thanks.

Viscous Material
Hi, I'm trying to model rubber isolators. For that, I'm thinking to use viscous material. But I couldn't understand about how to use this material and its parameters from the manual. Is it possible to have any more details about this material or example file on that? Also, could you suggest any othe...

Zipped Source code!
Hai
I'm still struggling to download the source files. In developer side also it is available as each and every separate file. But I'm looking for all the source files as once/Zip file. Because, I need to recompile those.
Thanks in advance

For Unix
Hai,
May I know how I can download,
1. executable file for Unix?
2. all the source code so that I can recompile and use?
I downloaded OpenSees2.0 for windows and I can download the each source code one by one separately.
Thanks in Advance

self-centering material
Hai,
I would like to use self-centering material to my analysis but I couldn't find any details about that in manual. can I have some details about self-centering model, like constitutive model and required material parameters?
Thanks in advance

hi I would like to clear one point. fully elastic model run without any problem. fully nonlineear model doesn't converge. then I changed the beam element only to elastic section as in Ex4 in manual. that also doesn't converge with steel02 and concrete02 materials. compare to Ex4 my cross sections (0...

Doesn't work
Hi Silvia, Thanks for your comments. I too tried with concrete02 and steel02. but it doesn't converge. I'm doing static pushover test. it run upto 2.7 mm. This time if I change the beam section to elastic, even it doesn't converge. But it run upto 47 mm. my model is similar to Ex4 in manual, but hig...

Question on NBC element Frame
Hi, I'm doing 2-D Frame analysis. when I did the model with ElasticBeamColoumn elements, I didn't find any problem. but if I change the model to nonlinearbeamcolumn element I face converging problem with Reinforce Concrete(RC) properties. I use fiber section with concrete01 and steel01 material. if ...
