HSS Sections
Hello vesna
I like use the HSS sections (Pipe) in my model. But the area and other section features dont confirm with those is achieved by in AISC3.PRO of ETABS model.
i.e. the section modeld in opensees is stiffer than the section in ETABS. Are the nominal dimentions diffrent from real dimentions?

Re: PushOver in Braced Frames
Hi vesna
I read this report completely and modeled the braces based on that, but this way is sensitive to the pushover analysis.
opensees give me a negative eigenvalue in low level of interstory drifts.

Re: PushOver in Braced Frames
Hi vesna
I am very grateful if you give me a proposal to solve this problem in pushover analysis. How can I correctly model the brace buckling?
Thanks a lot.

PushOver in Braced Frames
hello vesna I have a problem with pushover analysis in braced frames. In this case the analysis is very sensitive to initial camber in midspan of braces (which are used to model global buckling). As such the brace behavior is unreliable and the analysis lead to fail. Pleas help me for modeling the b...

Re: equalDOF in 3D models
Hello vesna and fh
I have a same problem with equalDOF in 3D models. I develop tow nodes with identical cordinate and use "equalDOF 313 31301 1 2 3 4 5 6" for these, but OpenSees give me different displacement in output along with many warning during run.

Re: Recorder in zeroLenght element
Hello vesna I try also this recorder, and only time is recorded in output. Another problem is the track of moment and rotation in beams and columns individually at the location of beam-column connections. I have a simple beam-column connection and want to get the rotation and moment of beam and colu...

Re: 2.0.0 version and 2.3.1
hi vesna
I have a adaptive pushover analysis in which shear forces of columns in each story at each step of analysis are in a loop.
I couldn't record these shears during the analysis.
thanks
