Compiling OpenSees2.4.1 on Mac OS X 10.7.5 and 10.8.3
Hi all, I have been trying to compile OpenSees 2.4.1 on Mac OS X 10.7.5 and 10.8.3. I have been able to build all libraries except libOpenSees.a. I get this error at the end of the compilation: ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [tcl] Err...

Input stiffness matrix
Hi all,
I want to assign a 6x6 stiffness matrix to one end of a column. The matrix is not diagonal so spring elements are not able to consider the non-diagonal components of the matrix. Does anybody here know how to resolve the problem?

SAP 2000 and OpenSees and Unloading reloading path
Hello everybody, In SAP 2000, there is an option by which the user is able to simulate hysteretic behavior of a material by just defining the backbone curve of that material (the mentioned option is Multi-Linear Kinematic Plasticity or Multi-Linear Takeda Plasticity. My question is that can we do th...
