"while" and "or"
hi
how i can use "or'' in "while" command?
for example: how i can write:
while {$acc < $SA or $drift < $kk} {. . . .

Re: record of the node rotation
hi vesna i want apply incremental dynamic analysis on rc shear wall and get pure envelop drift (not envelop drift) for every story by subtracting rotation of previous story muliply to story height from total drift of story and finally get maximom of this pure drift for every story for every level of...

Re: record of the node rotation
hello In shear wall buildings, however, 'story drift' itself is not appropriate as a damage measurement because part of this drift represents only a rigid body rotation at higher stories. To remove this meaningless rigid body rotation, the rotation of the previous story was subtracted at every story...

hello i want get rotation of node at the top of the shear wall in every story, in opensees manual the node recorder command have displacement response, even blow this command noted in parenthesis ''translational & rotational'' but i dont know strictly what response or command i use for record ro...

hi i have used OpenSEES to do a IDA for frame-shear wall buildings. here,I use the nonliearBeamColumn element for columns and beams of frames, and use the dispBeamColumnInt elments for the wall. i dont consider anything for modeling connection for concrete shear wall and steel frame. there are some ...

hi i have wrote a script for apply IDA method on Simple Steel Framing with Reinforced Concrete Shear Wall (5,8 and 12 story). by using concrete01 steel02 material, disp beamcolumnInt for shear wall and nonlinear beamcolumn for beam and column elements, i want get stress or strain response, for beam ...

Re: cod result
hi vesna i go to 1e-6 and more ( or smaller) but it fail to converge in low Sa and max interstory drift. i use variable transient, but the result improve trivial. i have 3 tolerance one in analysis static one in libanalysisdynamicparameters file and one in Ex8.genericFrame2D.analyze.Dynamic.EQ.Unifo...

Re: cod result
hi vesena when i increase my tolerance for example tol=1e-3, ( for 12 story concrete shear wall with simple steel frame for special record) analysis perform until Sa=.7 whereas max drift occur in story 9 or 10 with max interstory drift=1.7% but by increasing Sa the max interstory occur in story 1 wi...
