Cusp is so slow?
Hello I tried to use gpu. I installed cusp and cuda. My nvidia graphic card is k4000m with 960 cuda core. Model is a 4 span bridge with 300 nodes. Some parameters are variable. I need to run ida analysis. But it is very slow. Slower than a simple analysis on cpu. In my case Cpu is 5 time more faster...

Re: Cusp low GPU utilization
Hi I have this problem. My nvidia graphic card is k4000m with 960 cuda core. Model is a 4 span bridge with 300 nodes. Some parameters are variable. I need to run ida analysis. But it is very slow. Slower than a simple analysis on cpu. In my case Cpu is 5 time more faster than gpu. Is it normal? Wher...

Hi everybody Please help me. I need gpu prossecing for ida analysis I tried method from http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index.php/Cusp I installed cuda 5.5 I installed cusp 4 My gpu hardware have 960 cuda cores. And i ran a ready code. With cusp solver But i have this error: Version of dll incorect

questions about rigid link :error in transient analysis
hello to all I modeled a 2D frame with shear wall building. I used rigidLink beam to bond the shear wall (dispBeamColumnInt) to the frame. It works very well in Gravity analysis and pushover analysis but transient analysis doesn't work. I have below alerts that related to constrained nodes with rigi...

Re: modeling 2d rc moment frame with rc shear wall
Thanks yones, but my problem is about upper frame. if my model have not moment frame on upper floor, I simulate this model with columns and shear wall that ends nodes of shear wall connected to nodes of columns with beam elements,in this model we have one node at top of shear wall that is connected ...

modeling 2d rc moment frame with rc shear wall
Hello everyone, I want to model a two-dimensional concrete frame. the lower floors have shear walls and upper floors just have concrete frames, shear wall usually is modeled by dispBeamColumnInt element. But this element is between two nodes, such as columns and I can not model the concrete frames f...
