Dear Colleagues
Would you please inform me, If I use inelastic fiber elements with material property of concrete01 and steel02, can I simulate collapse of RC bridge with IDA and get flat line correspond to dynamic instability in (IM,DM) curve?
IF NO,Please get a solution
Best Regards

ShellMITC4 Theory
Dear Colleague can you please guide me what is theory of shellMITC4.(thin or thick shell). I transfered model from sap with shell thin element to opensees and substituted thin shell element of sap with ShellMITC4 and Elastic MembranePlate section of opensees but in the modal analysis resulte from bo...

nodes local restrain
Dear Colleague
If i want to restrain nodes in directions except that global direction how can i carry out this.
(for example inclined support)
Best regards

opensees large model limitation
Dear Vesna
I tried to use Umfpack system but receive similar message and analysis could not run.
Does node numbers have effect in this message?
or Does windows operating system have effect for run the program?
Thanks for kindly help

Dear vesna
my model is a bridge with approximately 20000 nodes, 14 elastic beam column element and 22715 shellMITC4 for modeling deck, girders and cross frames.(my analysis is elastic eigenvalue)
please get me a solution

Nonlinear secant stiffness matrix
Dear friends
I need to obtain nonlinear secant stiffness matrix for a simple model during pushover analysis at each increment. I want to know if it is possible in opensees software? If yes, how?
If a subroutine is needed, does anyone has this subroutine?
