Were you able to resolve this issue?

Re: Modal Mass Participation ratio
Hi Selim
I have extracted mass matrix and mode shapes. How can I find the equation number corresponding to nodes' DOFs of mode shapes? Please advise.

Did you find any solution to get more digits?

Re: High frequency noise
Record displacement/velocity and numerically differentiate to get the acceleration.

Could you please tell me which parameters I should play in the Generalized Alpha method?

Re: High frequency noise
I have already tried other integrators with numerical damping, but no success. I will try again. Thanks.

Re: High frequency noise
Hello Selim, Recorded displacement looks smooth (although has a small level Nyquist rate high frequency). I agree with you that the impact load could have excited all modes (while I believe they should appear as low frequencies noise due to aliasing issue, not at Nyquist rate), but I expect to see t...

High frequency noise
I have a bridge model with a linear-elastic composite deck in which the girder and slab are connected by two-node links. When I apply dynamic force on some nodes (representing moving vehicle), I get some very dominant high frequencies (at Nyquist frequency) in the recorded acceleration. However, dou...

Fiber section
Hello, I have to construct a line of fibers along a circular arc whose center is not matched to the section's center. Using $yCenter and $zCenter there is no problem. My question is about the start and end angles. Are they defined always with respect to the local y-axis (transferred y-axis of course...

Re: Cusp is so slow?
Hello Frank,
My graphic card is also CUDA enabled (NVIDIA Quadro P2000), and I had same problem. You mentioned people who incorporated cusp solver into Opensees are using GEforce and Tesla not Quadro. Could you please provide me with a link to read about this statement.
Thank you.

Re: OpenSeesSP freezes
Hi I am running a model in which I first do a static and then a transient analysis. I use OpensessSP with Mumps solver. I declared "system mumps" only once for the static analysis, but I get same error like you got first time. I get error when np>1, while it works well for np=1. How did yo...
