Recording the curvature
I have recorded the curvature for a section of a nonlinearBeamColumn element. In the results, 5 columns including time are created. Would you please explain about these columns? Which column is related to the curvature?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Residual stress for a circular shape patch
I have used the "-iter" option at the end of element command, and a large value of the "-maxIters" was considered; but the problem was not solved.

Residual stress for a circular shape patch
The residual stress should be considered for a circular shape patch; but, it seams that residual stress can not be compatible with this kind of patch. This warning is appeared:"failed to get compatible element forces and deformations for the element". I would really appreciate if you could...

Re: Change the section of the member during analysis
Exactly. In this example, the material tag is 100. The parameter command has been written for element 111; but, it does not work, and I received the error that I mentioned in the previous post. uniaxialMaterial Steel02 100 $Fy $E [expr (0.1 * $Fy / 0.04) / $E] 30 0.925 0.15 0.4 22 0.4 22 ; patch qua...

Thanks so much for the response. Would you please give an example using fiber sections for the element and apply the parameter and updateParameter commands to change the sections?
