Hi,
There is a problem with using damage recorder that must be fixed in the source code, and not with specifying the Tcl input. I have an old (1.6.2) version of OpenSEES that is debugged.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this in the new versions of Opensees.

Discretized random process
Hello, In order to run a time-variant reliability analysis in OpenSees, the random variables for the artificial ground motion must be specified. It appears that in the OpenSees v. 2 and v. 2.1, the artificial ground motion is not working properly. I found that the input random variables are not upda...

Hi, Dynamic reliability analysis is not a trivial problem and most likely FORM is not going to converge at design point, depending on the type of response (peak, displacement, stress, strain, etc) in the limit-state function. If you want to carry out any other reliability anlaysis (e.g., sampling), ...

Hello civilmanjun, The primary difference between FORM and sampling results is if sampling has high coefficient of variation (COV). From your results I saw your COV is about 8% which isn't bad. Therefore, the other causes due to this difference are 1)if the limit-state surface is nonlinear, SORM cou...

The steel01 material is bilinear. Therefore the limit-state function may suddenly change before and after the yielding. In that case, the convergence in FORM analysis is not guaranteed. From your errors I could see that other search algorithms failed to converge. This is not a problem with the OpenS...

Hi civilmanjun, Please post the errors with other search algorithms and results you obtained with iHLRF. I am not sure if you have syntax errors (running OpenSees) with the other search algorithms or the convergence problems (getting correct results). Depending on the limit-state function in your pr...
