I'm interest to know the displacements of the column value when the reinforcement and the conc increase (damage state). Also I'm interest to know the lenght of the plastic hinge at the base of the column. So I chose to model the column with fiber section and monitored the stress-stain in conc and st...

We know that:

If I define one element with more intergation point or more elemento with less intergation point, is the same thing.

I don't understand. I define my element in thi way: # define geometric transformation: set ColTransfTag 1; # associate a tag to column transformation geomTransf Linear $ColTransfTag; # element connectivity: set numIntgrPts 1; # number of integration points element dispBeamColumn 1 1 2 $numIntgrPts $...

Is it possible define seismic device with opensees?
I refer to elastomeric isolator, dissipative braces, damper etc etc.

No, I define only one element with 10 integration point.
Why do I define more than one element? and where I must do it?

I'm interested to obtain a lot of control section, expecially at the beginning of the column.

I change my element in displacement-based element, now the model run right and the output are acceptability. But I have the same problem I can't define more than 10 integration point on my column-element. Why?? I have a second question: Why when the progam run on my screen appair a lot of string tha...

Why can't I define more than 10 point of integration for force-based element?
When I do it the program stop to run.
I need to define a lot of point because I want to know how long in the plasticity on the base of the column (the lengh of the plastic hinge)

I need to study the behavior of the rc section for all the damage state.
I've done a push over analyze but when the unconfined conc failed the analyze stop. I need to study what happened in conc and stell after this moment..Is it possible?
