Thank you for reply I use your useful scripts to calculate elastic response spectra for a series of ground motions. The ground motion I used is got from elastic design spectrum. With your scripts elastic response spectrum for this ground motion is not compatible with original spectrum. Results from ...

Dear Silvia About the damps I found large difference according to K-prop factor and M-prop factor. Which one should I use? When T>1s acceleration values uing M-prop factor are larger when uing the other softwares, also larger than the elastic response spectrum. How to deal with this problem? Thank y...

About Hysteretic Material

When I didn't want to simulate the pinching and damage how to define the parameters ?
PinchX=1, PinchY=1, Damage1=0, Damage2=0, is this OK?

How can I get bi-linear Moment-Curvature curve?

In the Moment-Curvature analysis of RC fiber section how can I transfer the real curve to bi-linear curve?

But I only need to simulate the longitudinal and transversal hysteretic relation(shear direction) of bridge bearing.
When I use ther zeroleng element without specifying the constraints of 5 and 6 direction the result is reasonable.

recorder EnvelopeNode -file $dataDir/DFreeENvelope.out -time -node 141 -dof 1 disp
recorder EnvelopeElement -file $dataDir/FEnvy1111.out -time 1111 localForce

when I only add these two commands to Example07, and no warnings appear OS is still not giving output whether "-time" appears.

NO. The same as above.
When I use ther zeroleng element the following commands are used.

equalDOF 147 1 3 4
uniaxialMaterial Steel01 1 331.2 165600 0.01
uniaxialMaterial Steel01 2 331.2 165600 0.01
element zeroLength 1001 1 147 -mat 1 2 -dir 1 2

If I only simulate the longitudinal that's ok.
If I use the Zero-length Element that's ok.
So I think the other scripts are ok. I am confused....
