Thank u so much for your kind response
In global coordinate system of my building, X direction is from left to right, Y direction is from down to up and Z direction is based on the right hand side rule and the position of my beams are parallel to the X and Z direction.
Wating for ur answer
Tnx

geometric transformation in 3d building model
Hi, I have some trouble to define the orientation of my beams and columns. My model is a 3D building in wich X rappresents the longitudinal direction(horizontal), Z rappresent the transverse direction(horizontal) and Y is the height(vertical axis). I use this code: geomTransf $Coloumn TransfType $ID...

Hi, I want to do nonlinear time history analysis in Opensees and i need period time history as a result for my structure model . If opensees give us period time history as an output ? In other word, how can i get period time history as an output in opensees during linear and nonlinear time history a...

mass moment of inertia in Opensees output
Hi,
I need mass moment of inertia for each story in my 4 story structure model.
Are there mass moment of inertia for each story in Opensees output. How can i get it?
Thanks

Ran out of memory with array size message in Opensees
Hi ; I would run time history analysis in a 10-Story 3-bay 3D RC Moment Frame with Concentrated Plasticity hinges. But when i ran it , Opensees gives me this message: ID: : ID (int, int) ran out of memory with array size :8.57388e+7. Could you please guide me about that problem and reason. How can i ...

Re: plastic hinge based on modified Ibarra-Krawinkler
For analysis of the result (Beam Rotation History in Time History Analysis Outputin above) figures have + and - signs. I should compare figures with + sign in result with the th_pPositive ,th_pcPositive and th_uPositive in Beam Hinge Definition in above and also figures with - sign in result with th...

Hi, This is one of my beam hinge definition based on modified Ibarra-Krawinkler model and after that there is a table that shows beam rotation history in time history analysis output. For comparisons results between hinge definition and beam rotation history in time history analysis output, I should...
